The Journey Continues

Thank you for your time and for joining me on this journey! I have been blogging (officially) now for the last 3 years. However, I have recently decided to start fresh and archive all 440 old blog posts.

Blogging has been an interesting experience and one that has built endurance and consistency in the long-term commitment and dedication I have put to it. I hope to only serve the readers as I share that which is an encouragement and an edification.

GOOD company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton

We do not share the Word of God and our testimony with poor intentions. We do not share to maliciously tear one another down. Our Love for one another is that which strengthens the unity we have in the Body of Christ. As such, How we share matters tremendously! Sharing with a heart that serves to build each other up in the Body of Jesus Christ – that’s the goal!

We are called by God to be set apart. We are called to be transformed into His Image through the daily

  • renewing of the mind
  • cleansing of the heart
  • sanctifying of the body
  • refining of this walk we have with God in the spirit

I will strive to maintain this Unity and Mission, as best as I can – as far as the wisdom God has provided me with thus far will supply to do so. I do not desire to speak or write on my own accord and seek His wisdom in those things. I pray any writings are a blessing and serve your heart, your mind, your body, and your spirit. The Word of God is a daily blessing for my heart, my mind, my body, and my spirit each day. I will do my best to share it more often than not in what all I write. Like I do with myself, I also encourage you to dive into reading His Word more! When it comes to investing time with God in His Word, there is so much to learn! We have everything to gain – with nothing at all to lose!

We are all broken and sinners in need of His saving Grace. Many of these blog posts you will find are living examples of my own struggles and weaknesses. If any ever come across too preachy, it will only be because I am well-acquainted with the lesson learned and the seriousness of the subject. Yet, I will strive to share these in all humility to the extent I have learned to be humble…still learning the many facets of that one, too. One can presume 99.99% of that which I write I am

  • still learning
  • still working on
  • still growing in

For, there is always a more profound understanding awaiting us after each new grasp of knowledge acquired.

His ways are higher than ours, His thoughts higher than ours.

Let us not be afraid, let us not grow weary, let us continue as we are doing down this road set before us that is directed by the Holy Spirit. God is Faithful and Just. He will not leave us, nor forsake us. His Word is Truth and applicable every step of the way.

  • Let us know this…
  • Let us be comforted by this…
  • Let us be encouraged…
  • Let us take heart, being of Good courage…

For Jesus Christ has overcome this world, and we are Victorious in Him! Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, & the life – no one comes to the Father, except through Him. If you really know Jesus, you will know His Father, as well. This is what He told the disciples. He stated firmly to those who had ears to hear and eyes to see

From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.”

As we seek this path of righteousness for His Name’s sake, we learn the meaning of what new phrases mean.  I hope to expand on some of those phrases through my writings.

Phrases Like
‘abiding in God’
‘being grafted in’
‘reconciled to Christ’
‘saved by grace’
‘transformed by renewal’
‘dying to self’
‘spiritual warfare’
‘being still’
‘peace that surpasses understanding’
‘God’s Will’
‘basking in His presence’

…and so many other phrases once foreign to us all. The Word promises that we see dimly now, but we will see in full. This blog and writings in all mediums that I share are but a glimpse of the mere understanding & amount of wisdom God has provided to me through the Holy Spirit. I have derived it only through His teaching and guidance. Growing is exceptionally important. Let us not stop growing in Him –

  • In the study of His Word
  • In prayer & stillness with Him
  • In the desire to grow in Him
  • In training from the Holy Spirit
  • In reflection of my own accountability to the Word of God

Today, I have sought Him who knows all and knows everything about me, inside & out! I will continue to Ask and Seek Him. As I do so, I will continue to Find Him as I write unto Him for the glory of God and building up of the Kingdom. You will find Him when you seek Him with all of your heart!

A Spiritual Cleansing & Walk Accountability Scripture Share

Unrooting prayers like that of David are vital on the daily
Found in Psalm 139:23-24 (NASB)
Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
And see if there be any grievous, hurtful way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!

1 THESSALONIANS 5:9-14 says in the AMPC translation,

9 For God has not appointed us to [incur His] wrath [He did not select us to condemn us], but [that we might] obtain [His] salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) 10 Who died for us so that whether we are still alive or are dead [at Christ’s appearing], we might live together with Him andshare His life. 11 Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing. 12 Now also we beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you [recognize them for what they are, acknowledge and appreciate and respect them all]–your leaders who are over you in the Lord and those who warn and kindly reprove and exhort you. 13 And hold them in very high and most affectionate esteem in [intelligent and sympathetic] appreciation of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish (warn and seriously advise) those who are out of line [the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly]; encourage the timid and fainthearted, help and give your support to the weak souls, [and] be very patient with everybody [always keeping your temper]. [Isa. 35:4.]

COLOSSIANS 3:12-17 says in the AMPC translation,

12 Clothe yourselves therefore, as God’s own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified andholy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by] tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper]13 Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive]14 And above all these [put on] love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony]15 And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]16 Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him.

Seek to know Him more – Seek Him first.
