Blogging has been an interesting experience and one that has built endurance and consistency in the long-term commitment and dedication I have put to it. I hope to only serve the readers as I share that which is an encouragement and an edification.
GOOD company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
We do not share to tear one another down, but how we share serves to build one another up in the Body of Jesus Christ. Our Love for one another is that which strengthens the unity we have in the Body of Christ. We are called to be set apart and to be transformed into His Image through the renewal of the mind, the cleansing of the heart, and the refining of our walk with God in the spirit man…/woman. I will strive to maintain this Unity and Mission, as best as I can and as far as the wisdom God has provided me with thus far will provide to do so. I do not desire to speak or write on my own accord and seek His wisdom in those things. I pray this is a blessing and serves your heart, your mind, and your spirit – just as the Word of God does for my heart, my mind, and my spirit each day. We are all broken and sinners in need of His saving grace. Many of these blog posts you will find are living examples of my own struggles and weaknesses, even if they come across too preachy, it is only because I am well-acquainted with the lesson learned and the seriousness of the subject. Yet, I will strive to share these in all humility to the extent I have learned to be humbled…still learning the many facets of that one, too. One can presume 99.99% of that which I write I am still learning, still working on, still growing in – for there is always a deeper understanding waiting after each new grasp of understanding. His ways are higher than ours, His thoughts higher than ours.
Let us not be afraid, let us not grow weary, let us continue as we are doing in the road set before us that is directed by the Holy Spirit. God is Faithful and He is Just. He will not leave us, nor forsake us. His Word is Truth and applicable every step of the way. Let us know this. Let us be comforted by this. Let us be encouraged and let us take heart, being of Good courage – For Jesus Christ has overcome this world and we are Victorious in Him! Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, & the life – no one comes to the Father, except through Him. If you really know Jesus, you will know His Father, as well, He told the disciples. He continued by saying this to the disciples>to those who had ears to hear and eyes to see: “From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.”
As we seek this path of Righteousness for His Name’s sake, we learn the meaning of what these new phrases mean like: ‘abiding in God’, ‘being grafted in’, ‘reconciled to Christ’, ‘saved by grace’, ‘transformed by renewal’, ‘dying to self’, ‘spiritual warfare’, ‘being still’, ‘peace that surpasses understanding’, ‘God’s Will’, ‘basking in His presence’, and so many other phrases once foreign to us all. We see dimly now, but we will see in full. This blog and writings in all mediums that I share are but a glimpse of the mere understanding & amount of wisdom God has provided to me in study of His Word; in prayer & stillness with Him; in desire to grow in Him; in training from the Holy Spirit; in reflection of my own accountability to the Word of God; and as I have sought Him who knows all and everything about me, inside & out, through cleansing & unrooting prayers like David in Psalm 139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
And see if there be any grievous, hurtful way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
1 THESSALONIANS 5:9-14 says in the AMPC translation,
9 For God has not appointed us to [incur His] wrath [He did not select us to condemn us], but [that we might] obtain [His] salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) 10 Who died for us so that whether we are still alive or are dead [at Christ’s appearing], we might live together with Him andshare His life. 11 Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing. 12 Now also we beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you [recognize them for what they are, acknowledge and appreciate and respect them all]–your leaders who are over you in the Lord and those who warn and kindly reprove and exhort you. 13 And hold them in very high and most affectionate esteem in [intelligent and sympathetic] appreciation of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish (warn and seriously advise) those who are out of line [the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly]; encourage the timid and fainthearted, help and give your support to the weak souls, [and] be very patient with everybody [always keeping your temper]. [Isa. 35:4.]
